About my practice

Imaged, layered, reconstructed. The language of print is deeply rooted in my investigations of global ecological crises.

My practice attends to the intersection of art, science and technology. Through experimental imaged and material assemblages, I translate primary imagery or publicly available data of the land into abstract forms and surface textures to tell a story of deep time and deep futures at the core of a planet subjected to exploitative human activity. I work across traditional and contemporary modes of making, enabling artistic process to critique, reframe the original perspectives or uses of the imagery I am responding to.

By incorporating multiple perspectives within a single artwork or installation, I aim to unearth new narratives and ways to access complex issues embedded in some of our planet’s most pressing challenges, such as climate change, resource extraction, and media control.
